Hiding in Plain Sight

We found (and left) this nest sitting on ferns about an arms length off one of the trails at Whatcom Falls Park. It’s the coolest thing. Babies have fledged, but I can imagine how cool it would have been to see them. It blends in and one has to really look.

It’s quite amazing what you see when you look around you.

House Shaped ATCs

It’s been awhile since I’ve posted. My muse is beginning to return for short periods, and I’m going to make an effort to post more frequently. 

While I haven’t done a lot of art, I have started doing some trades on my favorite trading site, atcsforall.com, where I’m a moderator. I can always count on a swap to help get the creative juices flowing again.
